Getting Started

Installation

Learn how to install and configure Lyse. Connect providers like Linear, Jira, or GitHub and link your Figma plugin with a licence key.

Context

Lyse connects your design context in Figma with your ticket trackers and messaging tools. Installation is done once, then you keep working in Figma as usual.

The setup is built on two pillars:

  • In the Lyse web app, you configure Figma (Personal Access Token and Design System library file) and the provider where tickets will be created.

  • In the Lyse Figma plugin, you authenticate with your license key and sync variables so tickets always include accurate token details.

Connect tools (providers)

After this first setup, you only need to re-sync variables when they change, then publish your library in Figma to create issues automatically.

The library publish event is what triggers ticket creation.

The Lyse plugin does not generate tickets. It keeps your variable context in sync (names, collections, groups, modes, values) so that the issues Lyse creates right after publish are complete and trustworthy.

Setup flow

  1. Create or log in to the Lyse App.

  2. Set up the provider where tasks will be created (GitHub, Linear, Jira or Gitlab).

  3. In the Figma integration page, add your Personal Access Token, paste the Design System library URL, and start indexing.

  4. In your Profile, copy your Lyse's license key.

  5. Then in Figma, open the library, launch Lyse Figma Plugin, and paste the license key to authenticate.

  6. Click Sync variables and repeat this step whenever your variables or tokens change.

  7. Make your Design System changes in Figma (components, variants).

  8. Publish the library in Figma. Lyse computes the diffs and automatically generates tickets in your provider using the latest synced variables.
