Workflow
Github x Copilot
Generate issues and PRs fast from Figma with Lyse. Capture design changes, create GitHub issues automatically, and let GitHub Copilot process tasks into pull requests for a full design to code workflow.
Enhance your workflow
Lyse generates issues directly in your GitHub repository with all the context required. Thanks to GitHub Copilot, these issues can be automatically picked up, processed, and turned into pull requests.
The result is a fully automated loop, from Figma change to production PR, often in less than 3 minutes.
This workflow removes friction:
No need for PMs to manually draft GitHub issues.
No need for developers to handle repetitive tasks.
Copilot, powered by Lyse’s structured context, implements the change and delivers a pull request ready for review.
Prerequisites
Before setting up this workflow, make sure you have:
A GitHub repository connected to Lyse.
A Personal Access Token (PAT) with repo-level permissions.
GitHub Copilot enabled on your account or organization (Pro or +).
A Figma file where components and variables are aligned with your codebase.

Setup guidance
Connect your GitHub repo to Lyse via the Webapp → App Integration → GitHub.
Make sure your PAT has the correct repo and issue permissions.
Enable GitHub Copilot in your account or organization settings. You can also follow GitHub’s guide on assigning and completing issues with Copilot.
Assign Lyse-generated issues to Copilot so it can process them into pull requests automatically.
Benefits
Time savings: From design change to PR in minutes.
Reliability: Copilot executes based on Lyse’s structured context, reducing errors.
Efficiency: Developers focus on higher-value tasks while Copilot handles the routine.
