Getting Started
Installation
Learn how to install and configure Lyse. Connect providers like Linear, Jira, or GitHub and link your Figma plugin with a licence key.
Context
Lyse connects your design context in Figma with your ticket trackers providers. Installation is done once.
After the plugin is linked with your licence key and a provider is connected, Lyse watches your design system and, when your Figma library is published, transforms diffs into actionable work items that developers or AI agents like Cursor and GitHub Copilot can pick up without manual handoffs.

Think of the installation as a foundation with two parts. In the webapp, you configure Figma (PAT plus library file) and your provider.
In the Figma plugin, you authenticate and sync variables so tickets include accurate token details. After this initial step, work in Figma as usual.
Re-sync variables when they change, then publish your library to create issues automatically.

The publish event is the trigger for ticket creation. The Lyse plugin does not generate tickets. It keeps your variable context (names, collections, groups, modes, values) in sync so the issues Lyse creates right after publish are complete and trustworthy.
Setup flow
Create or log in to the Lyse webapp.
Set up the provider where tasks will be created (
GitHub
,Linear
, orJira
).In Profile, copy your licence key.
In Integrations Figma page, add your Personal Access Token, paste the library URL and start indexing.
In Figma, open the library, launch Lyse Sync Variables, and paste the licence key to authenticate.
Click Sync variables and repeat whenever tokens change.
Make your design system changes (components, variables, tokens).
Publish the library and Lyse computes diffs and generates tickets in your provider automatically.
