Linear

Connect Linear to Lyse in a few steps. Capture Figma changes and automatically generate issues in Linear, assign them to teams or projects, and even let Cursor create PRs from tasks.

Lyse integrates with Linear to turn design system updates into issues without manual copy-paste.

By setting up the connection in the Lyse Webapp, section App Integration, every change from Figma can be routed to the right team and project, keeping your backlog aligned with design.

Prerequisites

  • A Linear workspace where you have admin rights.

  • Be logged into the Lyse Webapp.

Required fields

1. Personal Access Token
Lyse needs a Personal Access Token to authenticate with Linear.

  • In Linear, go to Settings → Security & Access.

  • Under Personal API Keys, click New API key.

  • Give the key a descriptive name (e.g., Lyse-Automation) so it’s easy to identify.

  • Grant full access and make sure the correct team scope is included.

  • Copy the key, then in the Lyse Webapp → App Integration → Linear, paste it into the field Personal Access Token.

2. Team
In the Lyse Webapp, select the Team in Linear where issues should be created (for example DEV). This ensures Lyse-generated tasks go directly to the right backlog.

3. Project
Optionally, select a Project in Linear (for example Design System) to keep work organized under an existing initiative.

Advanced - Assign issues to Cursor

With the new Linear × Cursor integration, issues generated by Lyse can be assigned directly to Cursor.

  • Cursor then processes the task, generates a PR, and delivers it back to developers.

  • This creates a loop: Figma change → Lyse issue → Cursor PR → Developer review.
